Alana De La Garza is a beautiful actress that has left a lasting impression on the screen. De La Garza is a gorgeous actress, born the year 1976, in Columbus Ohio to a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother. De La Garza soon moved to Texas to study in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas prior to moving to Orlando, Florida. There she played a range of roles in local independent films as well as world-wide commercials. Despite having small parts, the actress quickly realized her passion for acting. In 2001, she moved from the Midwest to New York where her first part was in All My Children's soap opera as Rosa Santos. In 2006, she was cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was on screen for 85 episodes. Then she joined the brief-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. The character of De La Garza received numerous nominations for the show, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She also received ALMA Award nods. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her with the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in a drama TV series. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time afterwards. She was Marisol Deko, the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. In NBC's dark, dramatic show Do No Harm she played the character in the role of Dr. Lena Solis. The series was cancelled after two episodes.
